I have the honour to lay before you copies of
cortain correspondence, that has passed between the
Acting Governor-General and myself on the subject of
the rendition to the Hongkong Authorities of ond Linng
Tou. This individual, who is a resident on the territory
leased to Great Britain under the flonvention of 1898,
ía implicated in the murder, within the confines of
that territory, of two Indian Police Constables, end,
having thereafter fled across the border, was arrosted
by, and is now in the custody of, the lisin-an "eion.
